About Sin Sniffers
Welcome to Sin Sniffers, the internet’s premier source for completely fictional christian stories about completely fictional people doing completely recognizable things.
If you’ve ever found it easier to notice someone else’s shortcomings than your own… you’ve been a Sin Sniffer.
Haven’t we all?
Jesus reserved some of His strongest words for religious hypocrisy and self-righteousness.
Our mission isn’t to make fun of Christians. It’s to laugh at the part of ourselves that so often forgets grace.
Through satire, we hope to hold up a mirror, remind ourselves not to take our own pride too seriously, and maybe even laugh a little along the way.
So relax, laugh a little, check for beams before specks…
And if you happen to recognize yourself in one of these stories, welcome to the club.
We’ve all been there.

Satire Disclaimer: Sin Sniffers is a work of Christian satire, created with a sense of humor, a love for the Church, and a desire to glorify God. Every story on this site is fiction. All stories, names, characters, organizations, and events are fictional unless explicitly stated otherwise. Any resemblance to actual people, churches, pastors, deacons, Sunday School teachers, parking lot conversations, Facebook arguments, or committee meetings is purely… well… probably because human nature hasn’t changed much in the last 2,000 years.

Meet Harold Beam
The Original Sin Sniffer
Harold Beam is the editor and chief investigator of Sin Sniffers. Known for his relentless pursuit of self-righteousness, Harold has dedicated his life to exposing hypocrisy wherever it hides, especially in places with potlucks.
Armed with nothing more than a magnifying glass, a suspicious mind, and a deep love for the local church, Harold believes that no speck of pride is too small to be noticed, documented, and gently (but firmly) roasted.
When he’s not writing, Harold enjoys black coffee, people watching, and reminding himself that he’s not as righteous as he thinks he is.
“My mission isn’t to sniff out sinners. It’s to
remind all of us to check our own noses first.”
— Harold Beam
